Off the hook

As you may remember, I'm trying to write a story by starting with dialogue. So far, I have seen that this approach may require some tweaking. I noticed today, that there's a large piece of semi-important dialogue missing early on, among all the non-important stuff.

But I suppose that's my problem. I only do the superfluous things.

It may be that dialogue isn't the right place to start for me. But it feels like the easiest place to start.
