The snow is a couple of decimetres thick, but very firm in most places; you can walk on top of it. The air is coldish -- a couple of degrees below freezing, I think. In all, it has been very pleasant today, with a blue sky and no wind to speak of.
I noticed one thing. We actually have twelve hours of daylight now! Spring's coming.
