As I was going to the letter box...
Feb. 8th, 2018 11:56 amI came out of the woods, and saw our three deer galloping away ahead of me. Until then. I hadn't noticed the fresh tracks in the snow. They stopped when they arrived at the main road, turned back and looked at me. I waved. They kept looking. I tried to say some comforting words.
In the end I turned, and went back home. I can pick up the post tomorrow.
I'm really sorry, deer. I didn't mean to frighten you.
