We finally got snow. There's about two decimetres of it, and since the temperature is at fifteen below zero, it's likely to stay for a while.

The other day there was something very odd by the roadside: a helicopter flailing about in the air. I had to slow down so I could see what was going on. It was beating snow from the trees along the road, and more importantly, I suppose: along the power line. I knew they do that, to keep the branches off the cable, but I have never seen it before.
That's a problem they don't have in Scania.
